Fall Into Vintage Swap

Hey chickadees! Wow this post is going to be about something that was accomplished back in November 2010 It is so old but it will be okay because BELIEVE me it is SOOO worth it!! Better late then never I always say(hehe.) I was asked to join in on a Fat Book swap hosted by the talented and super sweet Sandy Navarro.. Of coarse I couldnt turn down this offer. This book was going to be FAB! There were eight girls including myself who joined in on the sewing fun! The theme was Fall in to Vintage. Each chick was to make eight pages, use a vintage glove somewhere on each page and it also had to have a Fall theme! Oh the ideas came to me instantly because as yall know I am in love with Fall! So I sat down and just went to creating and this is what my little hands came up with!!

A nest is in the center of the cut gloveLetters long forgotten were placed as if someone just threw them down.

Trim was added to the side for detail

A momma bird watches over the nest while tin leaves fall from tree

If I were a fluffy birdie I would for sure make a nest in this glove and hang it from a huge oak tree

All packaged and ready to be mailed out

When I received my Fat Book... Lordy! Lordy! I cant even describe the beauty that these women put into this book. I will have to take pictures of it soon and post about that amazing piece of art that this talented group of crafters made! Until next time....
