hey chickadees I decided that I'm not going to totally close my blog I am going to leave it up just in case I decide to pop in and say hello but I do want to host a swap anyways!! so here's the scoop!!
the rules are:
1. sign up before- August 21st. Due date-September 10th
2. This will be a group (of only 15 girls) swap but with a twist. let me explain... we will all make a charm for every girl in the swap(I will give the number when I send out the final email) that represents you. the charm can not be larger than 1.5 x 1.5 inches (they need to be small but pretty). they can be anything you want no rules on the charms.. just be yourself and make something you love. just please do not send a store bought charm that you didn't alter or glam up someway.
The twist is I will assign you a "secret partner" to make a fabric heart. The heart is to be 6.5 inches wide by 5 inches tall.It is to be made of fabric and needs to be stuffed and will require a metal hanger( so we can hang them up). You will alter this heart to your partners liking. you will know what your partner likes by the questions below. When you sign up just send me your name, address, blog, and the questions answered below.
the questions:
What colors do you love?
Where are you hanging your heart?
What's your style? cottage,vintage, shabby, chic, farmhouse....?
Are there any colors you don't like?
What are some of your favorite things? like Paris, vintage tableclothes, keys, shabby poodles... whatever you can give to help your partner get to know you without reading your blog!
anything else you want to include for your partner just write it with the questions
3. After you make the charms and one heart you will mail them to me and I will do something special with the charms and send you back the heart made for you and a charm from each girl! Please send a business or moo card with your heart!! so your secret partner will know who made it!
The reason I came up with this swap is blogging has been a love(the heart) of my life and was built up by each girl(the charms) that I've met. SO let's get this swap started! email me at gypsymermaidlife at yahoo
