Rusty Old Tin

Good morning Chickadees!!

Here are a few ideas of things to make with vintage goodies!!

I made these for a friend as a happy!!!

Johns grandpa had given me a few of these old tobacco tins and

I altered it to be a flower, note, or whatever holder!!

I added vintage Chandler crystals, vintage lace and a vintage flower!

Wrapped the top with burlap twine and stuffed full with flowers!!

Every girl loves pins to dress up a plain shirt!

Here is one I made from layered silk flowers and a silhouette of a rose pendant!

This little vintage tin got made into a initial name pin!

I added a scrabble title to the middle and vintage flowers adorned the side!!!

I love making new things from the old treasures!

I cant wait to find some more old rusty goodies!

Where are you Christmas?!!

Hello there!! I AM SO ready for Christmas this year!! I have a couple craft shows and an open house where I will be selling my burlap door hangings and along with other Christmas things! To get more in the spirit of giving I made these cards for a fundraiser! They made a big $50 so I am so happy to of been blessed with the talent to make things and be able to bless someone who needs the money with my talent! I have found that people love getting homemade things that I come up with! It comes from my heart and it makes that person just feel more special! which who doesn't want to feel more special!!!

I already have some gifts bought through out the year! I find something I snatch it up and like a squirrel I hide those things away till its Christmas time!!

I also said I had some news to tell yall!! Well John and I are going tomorrow to talk to a VA loan person and were starting the process of buying our first actual Home!! I am sooo EXCITED I cant even contain myself haha and those of yall that know me Know that its been a challenge for us since the hurricane but our love for each other is AWESOME and we are finally being blessed with the ability to purchase a home! With that being said I am also so nervous lol

John I love you but your just not handy and I don't blame you some people have that gift and some not so much! So I am nervous for what we can afford and what kind of house our money will buy us. lol so I might be having pics posted of me just decorating or me wanting to pull my hair out from DIY repairs to a home and decorating in between my balding hahaha

Just please pray that God leads us to where we are suppose to be which I know he will but pray that we follow that path! So what are yalls creations for Christmas this year? I am going to try and be a homemade person this Christmas since money will probably be slim due to buying a home so I need some ideas!!!

SPOOKY Halloween Fun!

Hey chickadees!

Has Halloween creeped up on us or WHAT!?!

I havent decorated my house at all....

yea I know what your saying wow so not like you Sarah!

But there is a reason and I hope to share that with you soon! :)

I kinda had a creative streak haha go figure huh?

While in the fab Dollar Tree I started just browsing

and this is what I made from what I found at the everythings a dollar store!!

So what do yall think?!

Of coarse all of it didnt come from the dollar store some of it I had

like the tulle, wreath, paper on pumpkins, and the green stuff hanging!

But the rest was from the the buck a roo shop!

Yep this wreath cost me $6!

How awesome is that?

I also made some cute Halloween ATC's

and a card but I will have to show you that on another post!

Come on Fall..

Hey everyone!!

How do you like my new blog?! I am loving it! Lemme tell ya haha Today is just one of those days when I am soo sleepy and BORED! I am at work but its been slow Ive already done two layouts and I am about to start on some cards for Halloween and Christmas! I am so ready for the Fall weather to get her! What about yall? It seems like this summer has been going on FOREVER!!! Guess what I am starting to make!? these cute lil' door hangers!

I hope to have some in my etsy shop soon or on here to sell! If your interested in one let me know I can make it to whatever your team is! I am even doing a house divided one! haha its going to be super cute! These went to my friend Jodie! She is a huge Saints fan! I also whipped her up some of my oreo truffle pops!!

She would proably eat these all day if she wouldn't get sick haha I just love making homemade treats for the people in my life!! Well anywho I am off back to work!
